I don’t like the film Coming to America, I don’t know the words to the classic song, Fire and Desire, and I don’t know how to play spades. What does this all mean? It means, if word gets out, I could have my coveted black card revoked! *shivers*. I’ll probably be ok but the contestants on the new BET game show, Black Card Revoked, will have to go into hiding if they aren’t up on all things black.
The show, based on the popular and super fun card game, will be hosted by the hilarious, Tony Rock and will be executive produced by David A. Hurwitz and co-executive produced by the creators of the game, Latesha Williams and Jay Bobo. Three groups including 1 celebrity and two contestants will have their knowledge of black pop culture, history, and nuances tested with questions ranging from old school films to current hip hop. Tune in to BET on Wed, January 10th at 10 P.M. ET/PT to see who will keep or lose their black card.
